Rosalind Fuse-Hall to become president of Bennett College on July 1

Dr. Rosalind Fuse-Hall is set to becoming the 17th president of Bennett College on July 1, following a press conference that made her appointment to the position official.

Ms. Fuse-Hall will replace former president Julianne Malveaux, who stepped down in 2012.

According to the Bennett College Board of Trustees Chairman, Charles Barrentine, Ms. Fuse-Hall brings to the position “a wealth of management, fundraising and governance experience, the board has every confidence that she will take the college to the next level of excellence.”

Bennett College is an all-women’s, historically black institution (HBCU) located in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Dr. Fuse-Hall is a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill and Rutgers School of Law. She began her professional career as a judicial law clerk with the Honorable William H. Walls and was a staff attorney in the Enforcement Division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in the New York Regional Office.
