UNCF to Host 2025 ‘A Mind Is…’® New York Gala

The United Negro College Fund (UNCF) will host its annual 2025 “A Mind Is…”® New York Gala on March 20, 2025, bringing together over 500 guests, including UNCF leadership, corporate partners, educators, community leaders, and HBCU alumni and scholars.

For over 80 years, UNCF has championed HBCUs by providing students with the resources to enroll, graduate, and strengthen America’s diverse workforce. The New York Gala plays a crucial role in supporting this mission.

At the event, UNCF will honor:

• Macy’s with the Corporate Partner Award for its transformative impact on HBCU students.
• Angela and Reginald Goins with the Leadership Award for their philanthropic contributions through The Reginald and Angela Goins Charity Fund.
• Nicole Pullen Ross with the Shirley Chisholm Award for her leadership in finance and dedication to HBCU students.
