Sarah Glover elected new president of the NABJ

Sarah Glover was elected as the 21st president of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) at the organization’s national convention held earlier this month in Minneapolis.

Glover is currently the social media editor for NBC Owned Television Stations.

She has also contributed as a freelance photographer and reported for outlets such as Jet magazine, the Washington Post, Liberty City Press and Black Enterprise for the past 20 years.

Glover is the founder of the Diverse Social Media Editors and Digital Journalists Facebook Group – a platform for advocacy, education and training for journalists of color.

She has been awarded fellowships from the Kiplinger Program in Public Affairs Journalism and Knight Digital Media Center.
