Charles Barkley donates $3 million to charities – including $1 million to Morehouse College

NBA legend Charles Barkley plans to donate US$3 million total to three organizations, including his alma mater, later this week.

Barkley made the announcement 3 days earlier than planned during a conference call for the American Century Championship’s celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, Nevada on Tuesday. His plan is to donate US$1 million apiece to the Wounded Warrior Project, Morehouse College in Atlanta and Auburn University.
