The Burns Brothers poised to establish Africa’s first African American-owned private membership club
The Burns Brothers, a Washington DC-based enterprise founded by John and Mike Burns, are expanding into major international markets, as detailed in a recent press release.
The Burns brothers highlighted the promising opportunities presented by global expansion, with a particular emphasis on African countries.
John Burns noted Africa’s rising economic importance, its expected demographic growth to represent one-quarter of the global population by 2050, and Kenya’s development as an economic hub as key factors influencing their decision to focus on Kenya for their expansion.
This expansion will also lead to the establishment of HQ, the first private membership club owned by African Americans on the continent, as stated in the press release.
The company, which operates eight distinct businesses across sectors including marketing, communications, and hospitality, was founded in 2020.
