Warren Anderson is the co-founder and president of The Anderson-DuBose Company. He and college friend, Steve DuBose founded the company in 1991.

The Anderson-DuBose Company provides logistics solutions to corporations in the quick service industry. Anderson-DuBose offers distribution services to its clients and business partners. It serves restaurant chains including more than 700 McDonald’s -and Chipolte restaurants.

Under Mr. Anderson’s stewardship, the company has grown to be the largest minority-owned business in the State of Ohio. The Anderson-DuBose company was ranked no. 9 last year on on Black Enterprise magazine’s ranking of the 100 largest black-owned businesses in the United States, having reported US$372.9 million in 2011. It was reported last week (May 21) that the Anderson-DuBose company had completed the acquisition of another distribution center in Rochester, N.Y., from Golden State Foods, and that the same distribution center produces US$170 million in annual revenue and employs about 90 workers – evidence of growth by the company.

Warren Anderson is an alumnus of the University of Michigan, where he earned both his BA and MA degrees.

The next time you bite into an Angus Deluxe Cheeseburger and fries, consider what it took to get the meat, cheese, toppings and condiments for that meal to the McDonald’s restaurant where you ordered it, and you get an idea of what the Anderson-DuBose Company does.
