James Nowlin is the founder and CEO of Excel Global Partners LLC, a Dallas, Texas based firm specializing in corporate financial and management consulting.

Nowlin founded Excel Global Partners LLC., with a commitment to providing clients with solutions-driven executives that have practical, real-world corporate experience and who understand the importance of delivering sustainable results. Today, Excel Global Partners has clients that range from start-ups, to mid-sized companies owned by private equity, to Fortune 500 companies.

Before founding Excel Global Partners, Nowlin practiced law at one of Texas’ top law firms and later served as a Managing Director of the largest legal search consulting firm in the world. Nowlin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia, a Juris Doctorate degree from the Duke University School of Law, and has completed training for high-performing business leaders at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas.

He was named by the Dallas Business Journal as a 2012 Minority Business Leader.
