Christopher J. Williams is the founder, Chairman and CEO of The Williams Capital Group, a full service investment bank catering to institutional investors and corporate clients.
Christopher Williams founded the company in 1994, and under his leadership, The Williams Capital Group has grown to become the among the top 15 most active underwriters of corporate debt in the United States. n the early 2000s, the company served as a co-manager on 88 public debt and equity offerings with a total face amount of over US$85 billion, but by 2010 the company now served as co-manager on nearly 200 corporate debt, agency, and equity offerings with a total face amount of over US$330 billion.
Mr. Williams has been recognized by both Fortune and Crain’s New York Business as one of the most powerful minority business leaders in the United States.
Williams is an alumnus of both Howard University, where he earned his Bachelors degree in Architecture and the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College, where he earned his MBA.
Williams serves on the board of directors of Caesar’s Entertainment, Inc., Wal-Mart Stores, Inc, and British American Business.
