Fawn Weaver, the founder of Uncle Nearest, the fastest-growing Black-owned whiskey brand, has been recognized as one of Forbes‘ richest self-made women in the United States according to their annual ranking. In less than a decade, Uncle Nearest has reached a valuation exceeding US$1.1 billion, with projected revenues of over US$100 million this year.

Forbes estimates Weaver’s net worth to be around US$480 million, placing her at No. 68 on their list of the Richest Self-Made Women.

Weaver launched the spirits company in 2017 with her husband, Keith, by selling all their West Coast real estate, including their dream home in Old Agoura, California, and their two Mini Coopers, as reported by Forbes.
