His message is to teach young people that despite their circumstances, “you and only you” can define who you are. He promotes using the odds to one’s advantage and not as an excuse, as they can be your strengths which play a significant role in your realm or possibilities. “It’s not where you start that counts; it’s where you finish,” he affirms. Having defied the odds himselt, Tewoldemedhin has set out to educate individuals on the importance of education and giving back through workshops facilitations, speaking appearances, and volunteering.
