The Simpson-Miller administration is expected to provide specifics, at the end of a two-day Cabinet retreat which begins today at Jamaica House, how the much-touted Jamaica Emergency Employment Programme (JEEP) will be rolled out.
Minister without portfolio in the Office of the Prime Minister, with responsibility for information, Senator Sandrea Falconer said Transport and Works Minister Dr Omar Davies is currently working on the structure of JEEP for it to be rolled out later this month.
Prime Minister Simpson-Miller announced an incremental roll-out of the JEEP, saying that the first phase of the controversial programme would create 700 jobs in seven parishes.
