Baseball Great Hank Aaron establishes $100,000 scholarship at Clark Atlanta University

Hank Aaron (pictured), has established a US$100,000 scholarship fund through his foundation to gift to Clark Atlanta University in support of students pursuing a wide range of courses: — including public service, teaching, social work, humanities, science and medicine. The foundation will be granted to one student per year until additional contributions are received.

The Clark Atlanta University was founded in 1988 when Atlanta University (founded in 1865), and Clark College (founded in 1869) merged to form one institution.
