4.5 magnitude earthquake recorded east of Tobago

The Seismic Research Center at the University of the West Indies (UWI), St Augustine campus, says an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.5 was recorded to the east of Tobago on Wednesday.

According to preliminary reports, the quake occurred at 3:56 pm local time.
The tremor was located at latitude 11.27N, longitude 58.83W , with a depth of 10 kilometers (6 miles).
This follows a 4.1 earthquake that was recorded 120 kilometers (74 miles) north west of Port of Spain early Tuesday. -(CMC)
