Jamaica: Andrew Holness to be sworn in as Prime Minister Today
Jamaica’s newly elected Prime Minister Andrew Holness will officially swear in his Cabinet ministers on Wednesday, September 17, a day after his own inauguration ceremony, the Governor General’s office confirmed.
According to a statement from King’s House, Holness is expected to select his ministers from both the House of Representatives and the Senate. The swearing-in will take place at 2:00 p.m. in the ballroom at King’s House.
