Four Senior appointments made at the Morehouse School of Medicine

Desiree Ramirez will now lead all compliance at the school as chief compliance officer. With more than 20 years of healthcare administration experience in leadership roles in compliance, finance and performance improvement. She joined the school in 2011 as the chief compliance officer responsible for just clinical compliance, HIPAA privacy, audit and other related functions. Prior to joining the school, she worked as a regulatory compliance manager for the Mayo Clinic, working for all three campuses in Florida, Minnesota and Arizona for 10 years.

About Morehouse School of Medicine: The Morehouse School of Medicine was founded in 1975 in Atlanta, Georgia, as a 2-year medical education program at Morehouse College, with clinical training affiliations with several established medical schools for awarding the M.D. degree.
