Stephanie Hill becomes Chair, Board of Directors, of the Greater Baltimore Committee

Other awards that Hill has received include being named the U.S. Black Engineer of the Year by Career Communications Group and included on EBONY Magazine’s Power 100 list. Most recently she was named one of Computerworld’s 2015 Premier 100 IT Leaders, one of Maryland’s 19th Annual International Leadership Awardees by the World Trade Center Institute, and one of The Daily Record’s 2015 Influential Marylanders.

Hill joined Lockheed Martin in 1987 as a software engineer and has assumed positions of increasing responsibility throughout her career.

In her current role, she oversees the strategy and execution of all ship and aviation systems programs. This diverse portfolio includes the Littoral Combat Ship program, Coast Guard systems, aviation systems and intelligence, and surveillance and reconnaissance systems.

Hill graduated with high honors from UMBC, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Economics.
