REDjet to announce new routes
Regional travellers will hear about new routes in a couple days.
REDjet has responded to numerous queries about its new routes with a promise of an announcement in the next two days.
The Barbados-based low-budget carrier, which last week got approval to fly to Trinidad and Jamaica, made a brief statement on its Facebook page yesterday.
“The big question is Trinidad to Guyana and a launch in Jamaica, you will have to wait for our first announcement on Wednesday!” it said. “New routes coming soon.”
REDjet last Tuesday opened bookings for flights between Barbados and Trinidad. That service begins on Thursday.
It is expected that the airline will announce flights between Trinidad and Guyana and reveal when it will start its Jamaica flights.
REDjet currently flies between Barbados and Guyana, offering fares as lows as US$9.99 before taxes.
