Meet the first Black woman-owned, electric vehicle (EV) charging station manufacturer in the world.
Natalie King is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Dunamis Clean Energy Partners, LLC , a woman-owned and Minority Business Enterprise (MBE)-certified green energy firm specializing in electric vehicle charger and LED lighting manufacturing; energy efficiency and energy management services; and environmental service solutions for municipal, commercial, and industrial clients.
Prior to forming Dunamis, she served as Vice President and General Counsel of J King Solar Technologies, LLC, a solar energy integration firm.
Under her leadership, Dunamis has grown into a multi-million dollar corporation with over 150 employees. As a corporate and real estate attorney with 18 years of legal experience, she operated The Law Offices of Natalie M. King, PLC, where she managed a successful corporate, real estate, and entertainment law practice. Ms. King also taught Entertainment Law and Contracts Law as an adjunct professor at the Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
She is a native of Detroit, earning her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and a juris doctorate from Wayne State University Law School. She is also a graduate of the Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth program “Building a High Performing Minority Business”.
She serves as Board Vice President of the National Business League. She has been passionately committed to charitable initiatives and community advocacy for over 25 years. She served as event organizer for the Annual Detroit Red Carpet Backyard barbecue for the Homeless & Hungry for 6 years, which fed over 5,000 Detroit citizens annually. She also serves as Board Chairperson for Abayomi Community Development Corporation, a nonprofit youth servicing organization and board member of The Yunion, a nonprofit youth mentoring organization.
