Jamaica: Digicel license renewed for another 15 years

Digicel has renewed its mobile license in Jamaica.

The operator has secured a 15-year licence for provision of mobile services on the local market. The new licence comes into effect in 2015. Additionally, Digicel has been granted a licence in the 700Mhz spectrum to provide LTE services in Jamaica.
