iROKO Partners founder Jason Njoku launches ‘SPARK’ to help fund Nigerian tech startups

Nigerian serial entrepreneur Jason Njoku and a business partner recently launched a company to fund tech companies in Nigeria – and in the longer term the West African region.

The company, SPARK, is a US$ 1 million dollar project created to support and develop aspiring Nigerian tech and internet entrepreneurs.

SPARK, a Lagos-based company calls itself “a company that builds companies” – it currently exists in the country’s angel investment ecosystem and will initially support tech entrepreneurs with financial requirements of between US$30,000 -US$75, 000 funding level.

Jason Njoku is also the founder and CEO of iROKO Partners – Africa’s largest online movie platform.
