CARICOM requires co-ordinated action to protect regional banking sector

Browne also noted that within the region, CARICOM policies need to be mindful of the need to “spread the face of integration so that all people reap some benefit.” Citing serious balance of trade deficits between Antigua & Barbuda and virtually every CARICOM country, he said his country has been “a ready market for the goods of our sister states”.

“We must ensure that regional integration serves the interest of all.” He added.
