Tuesday, April 23, 2013

(PRNewswire) – Secure Hosting, a data hosting company that provides secure dedicated servers for offshore hosting has opened a second data center in the Caribbean region to serve a growing need for clients around the world.

The Freeport location is the company’s second data center in Bahamas making it the only hosting company in the Caribbean or Latin America to offer fully redundant hosting solutions. Secure Hosting also has data centers in Nassau and in Hamilton, Bermuda.

“There are few places as good to do business as the Bahamas or Bermuda and there just isn’t anywhere better to have your servers because of the governments’ dedication to protecting privacy and data security.

The government of the Bahamas’ e-commerce business development initiatives were another key factor in opening our third data center in Freeport,” said Richard Douglas, founder and CTO of Secure Hosting Limited.

The Caribbean locations attract numerous clients around the world who value the strong legislation covering Electronic Transactions, Computer Misuse and Data Protection. Secure Hosting offers a full range of high-security hosting solutions including PCI DSS compliant hosting, secure dedicated servers, secure cloud hosting, and advanced hosting packages.

The new data center offers redundant networks, full uninterruptible power systems (UPS), cooling and backup generators and cutting-edge server technology. “Our clients can’t afford to have downtime for any reason. Our data centers have backup systems for their backup systems,” said Douglas.
