Yohan Blake apologizes
Yohan Blake (pictured), has apologized for his actions, which have been criticized locally, during the medal ceremony and playing of Jamaica’s national anthem for the 4x100m relay at the IAAF World Championships in Athletics in Daegu.
Blake has since apologized for his actions.
“I apologize unreservedly for my behaviour and will ensure it never happens again as I continue to strive to be a good ambassador for Jamaica,” Blake told the Observer.
Blake will make his first competitive appearance as the 100m world champion on Thursday when he takes part in the next Diamond League event in Zurich.
