Will Ben Carson run on a Republican ticket in 2016?

Dr. Ben Carson, the world reknown pediatric neurosurgeon is reported to have hinted in being interested in a 2016 presidential run on the Republican ticket.

Carson, is known for executing some of the most groundbreaking surgeries of the last two decades, among them separating two conjoined twins at the head.

He is socially conservative especially on issues like abortion and gay marriage, and has been a critic of President Barack Obama’s health care overhaul.

Carson has indicated in the past that he was not interested in politics, however, he has since become extremely popular among conservatives that his name is on the ballot for CPAC’s straw poll for a 2016 presidential candidate.
