Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister discharged from hospital
Prime Minister Kamla Persad Bissessar was discharged from the private St. Clair Medical Center on Friday, two days after she was admitted to the institution complaining of feeling unwell.
Prime Minister Persad Bissessar had been taken to the hospital on Wednesday after she complained that she had been feeling unwell while attending an official function.
She told reporters that she had problems with diabetes and hypertension which promoted the doctors to do the full check up adding that she had been given a clean bill of health.
A statement issued by the Office of the Prime Minister earlier this week said she had “been on a hectic schedule over the past two months during which time she continued to work through a bout of dengue from which she is still recovering”.
