Serena Williams maintains WTA No.1 ranking

Serena Williams continues to maintain her no. 1 ranking, according to the latest listings released Monday by the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA).
Williams has a slender 40-point lead with 10365 points over Victoria Azarenka of Belarus, who has 10325 points. Both Williams and Azarenka withdrew with injuries from last week’s Dubai Open.
