MapIT South Africa acquires 26 pct stake in Uganda’s SatNav East Africa

MapIT is 51 percent owned by Avusa Ltd., a media conglomerate quoted on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE), through New Holland Publishing whereas TomTom Africa Ltd., owns the remaining 49 percent.

Currently MapIT covers 104 countries and territories and 34.8 million kilometres of road globally that include 10 countries and 1.7 million kilometres coverage in southern Africa.
