LIAT Pilots Association denies members planning industrial action

Monday, August 5, 2013

“LIALPA regrets the inconvenience to passengers on its fleet caused by the introduction of these new aircraft but cannot take responsibility for its impact,” the union said, adding it remains hopeful that the management of LIAT “will work with them to put a structured plan in place to move the airline forward in a direction that will mutually benefit its customers and employees.

“We continue to maintain our social contract with the Caribbean people with a firm commitment to transport you in a safe and timely manner,” LIALPA added. -(CMC)
