Former Uganda vice-president held over graft
The former vice-president of Uganda, Dr. Gilbert Bukenya (pictured), has been remanded in prison after an anti-corruption court ruled that he was involved in fraudulent practice during preparations for a Commowealth heads of government summit, local media reported.
Bukenya, was vice-president from 2003 until 2011 when he was fired by the President.
