Earthquake of magnitude 4.3 rocks 3 countries in eastern Caribbean
An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.3, rocked 3 countries in the Eastern Caribbean early Sunday.
The Seismic Research Centre at the University of the West Indies (UWI) said the tremors occurred just after 8:00 am (local time) and was felt 126 kilometers (78 miles) N of St John’s, Antigua & Barbuda; 131 kilometers (82 miles) NE of Basseterre, St. Kitts & Nevis, and 226 kilometers (141 miles) NNW of Point-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe.
The earthquake had a focal depth of 10 kilometers (6 miles).
There were no reports of damage or injuries. -(CMC)
