Dominica government unveils new online platform for public services
The Roosevelt Skerrit administration in Dominica is improving the efficiency and accessibility of public services with the launch of a new e-Services portal, eservices.gov.dm.
This portal will offer online access to over 90 government services, providing a secure, seamless, and user-friendly experience, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s office.
Citizens will be able to apply for and renew various documents, including birth, death, and marriage certificates, passports, and business permits, all through the platform. Users can also pay for these services using debit or credit cards.
Additional features include live chat support, as well as accessibility options such as disability-friendly and multilingual features, ensuring that the platform is inclusive for all users.
A dashboard is available for individuals to track the progress of their requests and receive real-time updates, the release further noted.
This e-Services portal is part of the government’s broader digital transformation initiative, which aims to enhance productivity and deliver more citizen-focused digital services.
