Africa still needs another Obama term

January 20 was the third inauguration anniversary of Barack Obama, the first African American president of the US. President Obama was inaugurated on the January 20, 2009. He is seeking re- election this November.

President Obama’s father was a Luo from Kenya. When Obama assumed office on 20 January 2009, his critics thought that the USA would give more aid to Africa during his presidency.

It turns out that President George W. Bush gave more money to Africa than Obama has in his first term in office. President Obama being a true son of Africa knows what best he can give Africa. Freedom for its people!

In his first address to Black Africa in Accra, Ghana, he promised to stand with all those in Africa who shall seek freedom.

When the people of Libya rose up against their president, Muammar Gaddafi, he wrote to Obama to stop the war referring to him as “Our Son.” President Obama refused to be a “son” to the Gadaffis of Africa. He opted to be a “son” and brother to the oppressed Libyans, and today Libya is free.
