Serena Williams, Novak Djokovic named ITF world champions for 2013

Serena Williams and Novak Djokovic are the International Tennis Federation’s (ITF) world champions for 2013.
Williams captured the women’s award for the fourth time, and Djokovic took the honor for the third successive year.
The 32-year-old Williams has ended the 2013 Calendar season holding on to her no.1 ranking for the second consecutive year.
Djokovic started the year by winning a third straight Australian Open and was runner-up at Wimbledon and the U.S. Open. He finished the season No. 2 in the ATP rankings with 7 tour titles.
American twins Bob and Mike Bryan were named men’s doubles world champions for the 10th time in 11 years, while Sara Errani and Roberta Vinci of Italy took the women’s doubles award.
