Barbados, Trinidad & Tobago rattled by earthquakes
Barbados has been rattled twice within a 24 hour period by earthquakes that also affected Trinidad & Tobago, according to reports generated by the Seismic Unit of the University of the West Indies.
The report said that on Monday, earthquakes occurred north of Trinidad & Tobago and Barbados respectively during the period 2:15 a.m. (1:15 a.m. EST) and 6:00 a.m. (5:00 a.m. EST).
Both magnitudes of the earthquakes were 3.6 and depths of 56 km (35 miles) and 27 km (17 miles) respectively and that they may have been felt in nearby islands.
On Sunday, Barbados was shaken by an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.8 with a depth of 66 km (41 miles).
