Yohan Blake wins 100m in 9.84 seconds

In the men’s 110m hurdles, Jamaican Hansle Parchment won in 13.31.

In the women’s 400m, world leader Novlene Williams-Mills claimed victory in 50.35 over Jenna Martin of Canada who finished in 52.90. In the men’s 400, Chris Brown and his Bahamian teammate Ramon Brown were first and second in 45.14 and 45.48.

Jamaican Warren Weir won the men’s 200m in a personal best 20.13 while Cayman Islands’ Cydonie Mothersill took the women’s 200m in 23.51.

Dylan Amstrong of Canada won the men’s shot put with a toss of 21.15 metres. American Will Claye won the long jump with a leap of 7.97m.
