Barbados’ hopes of qualifying for the 2014 World Cup were dealt a huge blow yesterday when they lost to Trinidad & Tobago 2-0 in their second qualifying match of CONCACAF’s Group B.
Midfielder Keon Daniel gave Trinidad and Tobago a 1-0 first half lead with a low shot in the 16th minute and striker Darryl Roberts got a second in the 77th minute.
Barbados was humbled by Guyana 2-0 on the South American continent.
