Serena Williams seeks her 6th Wimbledon title

Serena Williams, the no. 1 ranked female tennis player in the world, is looking for her sixth Wimbledon title.

“I feel good. I feel like every year is another year. I feel happy to be here.,” Williams said.

“I have been doing just a lot of training, just working out, trying to get ready for the next event, which so happened to be Wimbledon.”

Williams, 32, has secured only three WTA titles in 2014 and has wallowed at grand slam level, losing in the fourth round in Melbourne and even earlier in Paris. The world champion is doubly determined to redeem herself on the courts where she has excelled for more than a decade.

Williams is projected to clash in the quarter-finals with archrival Maria Sharapova.
