More Jamaican professionals will be able to work in the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) without the need for work permits.

The Minister of Labour and Social Security, Pearnel Charles said that instructions have been issued to the Chief Parliamentary Counsel for amendments to the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Free Movement of Skilled Persons Act, to add teachers, nurses, artisans and household workers to the list of people who qualify for the skills certification that allows them to move freely in other territories.
