Gyan Asamoah defects from the English Premier League

Asamoah Gyan has chosen to leave Sunderland and is set to sign for United Arab Emirates side Al-Ain on a season-long loan.
The Ghana forward, joined the Sunderland from French club Rennes in August 2010 for £13 million (US$ 20.5 million).
