About The Executive Leadership Council and Executive Leadership Foundation: The Executive Leadership Council is an independent, nonprofit corporation founded in 1986, composed of current and former black CEOs, board directors and senior executives at Fortune 500 companies in the United States. For more than 25 years, the Executive Leadership Council has worked to build an inclusive business leadership pipeline. The Executive Leadership Council empowers black corporate leaders to make significant contributions in the global marketplace and their communities.
The Executive Leadership Council’s related charitable organization, the Executive Leadership Foundation, focuses on improving local communities and helping disadvantaged groups within the broader society. The affiliate supports education programs and provides scholarships to deserving students interested in business and corporate careers. Executive Leadership Foundation programs develop future business leaders, filling the pipeline from the classroom to the boardroom.
