LeBron James, Miami Heat come up short in 2011

More than six months later, it all seems pretty innocuous.
Game 2 of the NBA Finals, June 2, Miami: In transition, LeBron James leaves his feet to find a cutting Mario Chalmers on the baseline. Chalmers passes to Dwyane Wade, who is behind the three-point arc right in front of the Mavericks’ bench. Wade drills the shot, which gives the Heat a 15-point lead with 7:14 to play, and leaves both of his arms extended high in the air for a few seconds. Wade walks back toward the Heat bench, and is greeted by James, who throws a few mock jabs at Wade’s midsection.
The Mavericks won the game, scoring 22 of the game’s 27 final points. Dirk Nowitzki scored Dallas’s last nine points, including a tie-breaking layup with three seconds remaining. On that play, he scorched past Bosh, and James was nowhere to be found for help.
The Mavericks would win four of the series’ final five games, and win the NBA Finals.
