Injury forces Robles out of Istanbul championships

Robles boasts a personal best of 7.33 in the 60-meter hurdles, the second quickest ever after Colin Jackson of Britain’s 7.30.
Robles was disqualified at last year’s world outdoor championships in South Korea when judges determined he obstructed Liu, and his withdrawal from the Turkey event rules out a rematch between the two.
Robles vs. Liu remains one of the most highly anticipated duels in London.
