Lucie Tondreau becomes Mayor of North Miami

Lucie Tondreau has been voted North Miami’s first every Haitian-American mayor.
She defeated her nearest opponent Kevin Burns with 55.7 percent of the vote with all precincts reporting.
Tondreau will replace outgoing mayor Andre Pierre who has stepped down after a successful 4 year term.
