Is Tim Scott a potential Vice President of the United States?

There is buzz building up in Washington DC, that South Carolina Senator Tim Scott may be considered as a vice presidential running mate for the candidate that will be nominated on the Republican ticket next year.

Scott, 49, the only African American Republican in the Senate, could help the Republican national ticket broaden it’s appeal among minorities. He is well liked within the Republican party and is seen to favor issues that resonate with the party’s base.
