Domestic policy adviser, Melody Barnes to leave the White House

President Barack Obama’s domestic policy adviser, Ms. Melody Barnes (pictured), will leave the White House at the end of the year to spend more time with family and consider opportunities in the private sector, senior administration officials told POLITICO on Thursday.

Barnes served as a senior policy adviser to the Barack Obama campaign in 2008 before joining the administration in 2009.
