Andrew Holness looks likely to win the elections

Jamaicans are eagerly anticipating the debate between Prime Minister Andrew Holness and Opposition Leader Portia Simpson-Miller (pictured). This debate will prove to be an ideal platform for the leaders to make known their ideologies on how to move the country forward.

During her tenure as prime minister, Ms. Simpson-Miller did not implement any new programmes or proposals – instead, after her tenure as prime minister, the country is left with the Trafigura and light bulb scandals.

Ms. Simpson-Miller’s constituency is in a deplorable state and in dire need of repair and proper representation.
