After surviving a vote of no confidence, Prime Minister Tillman Thomas is considering reshuffling his cabinet, informed government sources have said.
Prime Minister Thomas had earlier indicated that a cabinet shake-up was in the making when he addressed the nation to announce the appointment of George Vincent as the new Tourism Minister following the resignation of Peter David last month.

Government sources revealed that Information Minister Glen Noel is to become the new Works Minister replacing Dennoth Modeste, who is likely to take over the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a portfolio held temporarily by Prime Minister Thomas after the recent resignation of Karl Hood.
The sources said that Social Affairs Minister Sylvester Quarless is likely to be shifted to the Ministry of Labor where the incumbent Glynnis Roberts is slated to be the new Minister of the Environment.
Political observers note that this will be the fourth cabinet re-shuffle since the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) came to power in July 2008.
The party has been rocked for several months by infighting among members leading to the resignation and dismissal of senior cabinet ministers and a motion of no confidence filed by the main opposition New National party (NNP) headed by former prime minister Dr. Keith Mitchell.
There has been no comment from the Office of the Prime Minister to the reported Cabinet shake up. -(CMC)
