Shark Pool event to boost minority businesses launched by African American Chamber of Commerce (Cincinnati)

The Cincinnati chapter of the African American Chamber of Commerce has announced that it is seeking applications for for its 2013 Shark Pool event that commences on September 27 this year.
According to chamber CEO Sean Rugless, the Shark Pool event which is modeled on the ABC network’s popular “Shark Tank”, will provide an opportunity to minority entrepreneurs to opportunity to present their business ideas to Earl Graves (founder and CEO of Black Enterprise) and a panel of local investors in an effort to secure a portion of over US$100,000 in funding, products, and services to help start or advance their businesses.
The deadline for applications is Friday, May 31 at 5:00 PM EST.
