Republican rising star Mia Love to to address CPAC

Republican mayor of Sarasota Springs, Utah and a rising star in the Republican party, Mia Love, will deliver a speech at this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in March, organizers at the American Conservative Union announced Thursday.
Love, lost a close race in November to conservative Democratic Rep. Jim Matheson (Utah). Had she won, Love would have become the first black Republican woman elected to Congress. She has not closed the door on the prospects of a future congressional bid.
