Randal Pinkett’s BCT Partners to merge with Lynx Technology Partners, Inc.

Randal Pinkett – Co-Founder, CEO and Chairman of BTC Partners
Management and consulting IT firm BTC partners, has announced a merger with Lynx Technology Partners, Inc., a Manhattan-based IT consulting company.
The merger of the two companies – both minority-owned, comes at a time when companies in the United States – from American Airlines and US Airways to Time Warner Cable and Comcast Corporation are joining forces to capture a greater share of the marketplace.
According to Randal Pinkett, the Chairman and CEO of BTC partners, the merger of the two companies is essential for growth, and continued success of the business. “We are in the midst of an era of consolidation, whether we like it or not, size matters. While there will always be a place for small businesses, it’s becoming increasingly harder to compete when you’re too small.”
The decision to merge the two companies was prompted by BCT Partners’ desire to expand its information technology practice. The merger which is expected to be finalized by the end of June, will create a management consulting, information technology and information security firm capable of serving both public- and private-sector organizations. The newly formed company will operate under the name BCT Partners LLC.
Financial details about the deal have yet to be disclosed.
